It involves several rituals, with the bride symbolically searching for her groom in the presence of family, friends, and well-wishers. Once she identifies him, she offers him a cup of palm wine, signifying acceptance. The ceremony is filled with music, dance, colorful traditional attire, and a display of gifts exchanged between the families, emphasizing respect, community, and the importance of family in marriage.
