MEMBERSHIP
Igbo organization Inc. is a membership organization. It is a private foundation, but a public entity. It is open to all Igbo men and women who meet all the criteria as defined in the by-laws and articles of in-corporation section.
Membership classification
Single Membership – This is an unmarried male or female who is 26 year old and older, and is duly registered with organization.
Family Member – Married couple (Husband and wife) and their children under the age of 26 years shall be treat as one family membership unit.
RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES
Only full members (member who are up to date in payment of dues and levies, attends meetings and participates in the organization activities) shall enjoy full right and full privileges.
Full Rights.
The Igbo Organization gives members certain rights including the rights to:
Receive notices of meetings
Remove officers.
Confirm, reject or amend bylaws made by the organization.
Change Article of Incorporation
Receive Financial Statement
Have access to the organization’s records
Be listed in Igbo Organization Directory
Must be given membership cards which is updated every
